Muffin Tin Monday: Smiley Snack

August 15, 2011 by Susie Chadwick Leave a Comment

For this week’s muffin tin meal, I made a smiley snack as a light lunch for my kids.   Oranges are imported (expensive) here, so this was a new food for them.  I cut them into wedges and made a mouth.  Then I added a gummy ring for a nose, and muffin cups of crackers for eyes.  The paper muffin liners are leftover from Easter.  Maggie’s smiley snack also has a cheese triangle tongue.

You could do a muffin tin meal like this using slices of any fruit and two muffin cups.
