Officially Starting My 21 Day Fix Challenge TODAY!

August 31, 2015 by Bekah Leave a Comment

Well today is the day I started my 21 Day Fix.  I worked on my meal plan last night because of the grocery deals that were going on at my local grocery store this week.  It’s pretty solid I think.  I repeated meals throughout the week because it’s just easier to do for the first week.  I might switch up some of the snacks but we shall see.

Last night I was a little stressed because today was the first day of school for both of my kids.  My 3rd grader has extreme anxiety about changes and she gets really upset.  I know she will be ok but seeing her like that stresses me out because I feel horrible for her.  So I was a little anxious this morning and didn’t eat my full breakfast because I was a little on edge.

I also wanted to work out this morning but wouldn’t you know that the community center is shut down for maintenance this week!  I knew that, but I must have forgotten.  So then I got my shopping done, picked up the little one from Kindergarten, fed her, and got some meals prepped for the week.

I just at ate a grilled chicken salad for lunch and it was yummy!  I’m so full and actually feeling tired so I think I’m going to try one of the workout DVDs after this. I need to get my heart rate up so I no longer feel like I want to fall asleep.  I’m also doing ok on fluids but I’m not sure how I’m going to ever drink 80 oz in a day.  64 oz is really good for me.

Tomorrow I’m going to try to plan better for a morning workout, and try to be better at eating regularly.  It’s actually kind of a pain to stop and eat mid-morning when I’m busy but I have to keep my metabolism up!

UPDATE:  I did the PLYO Fix 30 minute workout for the first time and I really like it.  I had to do the modified versions but I did it!  I really like Autumn’s (the instructor) attitude and I really liked that the others working out in the room weren’t these perfect smiling people.  They looked normal.  They all had to stretch it out, walk it off, and take water breaks like everyone else.  Those things alone make it a really good workout that you actually want to do.
