Christmas Rice Krispy Treats

December 19, 2013 by Kimberly Danger Leave a Comment

Do your kids like Rice Krispy Treats? Here are some adorable ways to make them extra-special for Christmas.  They’re easy enough to make that the kids can help you out in the kitchen.

Christmas Treats: Cocoa Krispies Reindeer

If you love Rice Krispies Treats, here’s another fun variation for the holidays.  These Christmas treats feature Santa’s reindeer, and Cocoa Krispies instead of the regular Rice Krispies.

Rice Krispies Christmas Trees

A little green food coloring added to the Rice Krispies Treats recipe is a great start to these trees.  Add red candy for holly berries and a Rolo candy for the tree trunk.

Christmas Ornament Rice Krispies Treats

Are the kids home from school this week on Christmas vacation?  Here’s a yummy holiday treat you can make together.  These Rice Krispy Ornaments are a cute treat to bring to neighbors and they look great as a holiday centerpiece.

Christmas Rice Krispies Tree Pops

I made these Christmas Rice Krispie Trees just like regular Rice Krispie treats.  I added the green food coloring to the marshmallow/butter mixture.  I put a cake pop stick in them, but you wouldn’t have to do that.  They’re cute without them too!

Christmas Rice Krispy Treats: Holiday Wreaths

Rice Krispy wreaths were a treat my mom used to make when I was growing up.  They’ve been around a long time!  We used red hot candies on them.  When I made them this year, I used red M&Ms.  You can really use anything you like, and even use red rope licorice to tie a pretty ribbon on your wreath.
