Summer Movies for Kids: $1 Movies at Cinemark and Regal Cinemas

May 13, 2011 by Susie Chadwick 2 Comments

Summer movie programs for kidsStay cool this summer by treating your kids to a movie in an air-conditioned theater for as little as $.50!  Cinemas all over the country are showing G and PG-rated movies on weekday mornings at a discounted rate.  Here are two summer movie programs for kids – do you know of any others near you?

Regal Summer Movie Express – $1 admission for G and PG movies shown at 10am on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.  In my area, this 9 week program starts 6/21.

Cinemark Summer Movie Clubhouse – 10-week pass for $5, or $1 admission at the door for G and PG movies shown at 10AM on Tuesdays.  In my area, this 10-week program starts 6/7.

Want more active frugal fun? Sign your kids up for free summer bowling!  And, keep your kids reading (and earning free books) with free summer reading programs.

Please help keep me posted on activites in the community. I would love $1 movies for the summer and free bowling. I take a week’s vacation and due a community day camp at my church for the community.. Funding is realy hard this year and I would love to be able to still do this. If you have any suggestions or other activities that i could use, please let me know.
    thanks,
