Easy Scrapbook Idea: A Use for Your Free Photo Collages and Prints

October 11, 2012 by Kimberly Danger 4 Comments

digital scrapbook ideasWhen my daughter was a baby, I used to be an avid scrapbooker.  I’d spend hours crafting meticulous layouts, getting the perfect shots, and coordinating papers and embellishments.  Then my second child came along.  I tried to keep up with my hobby, but the demands of raising two little kids and managing a growing website quickly ate up all my time.

Recently, I discovered a quick and easy way to create a scrapbook that doesn’t take much time or money.   I have been taking advantage of the free photo collage offers from Walgreens as well as any free 8×10 print offers and using them as my scrapbook pages and insert them in the top-loading 8 1/2 x 11 scrapbooks. Hobby Lobby and Michaels have the 8 1/2 x 11 scrapbooks in which to put your pages.  Amazon also carries them in a variety of colors and styles.  This way, I can create a page in under five minutes and I have a way to archive and share all those great photo deals and photo freebies!

I ordered my collage prints on Tuesday on Walgreens.com with coupon code PRINTFOR40 to save an additional 40% off the price (that Walgreens Coupon Code is valid through Saturday, October 13th).  We’ve got lots of other photo deals as well.

Thanks to my friend Lynnita for sharing this easy scrapbook idea!  Want to connect with other frugal scrapbookers?  Our Scrapbooking & Paper Crafts Forum is the place for swaps and trades, crops, and challenges to keep yourself motivated.
