Have you seen Despicable Me 2?  We saw it last week and loved it!  Seeing the movie inspired me to make these cute little “Minion” cupcakes.

For Minion Cupcakes You’ll Need:

  • Wilton Candy Eyeballs
  • Sara Lee Creme Cake
  • Cupcake Mix
  • Frosting
  • Wilton Decorating Candy
  • Wilton Black Icing

I found these Sara Lee Golden Creme Cakes at Target for $2.99.  Cut each one in half for your minions.

Other supplies I used were from Wilton:  Black Decorating Icing, Wilton Candy Eyes, and black Decorating Candy.

Make cupcakes according to package instructions.  Cool, and frost.

Use the black icing to create goggles for your minion and a variety of smiles.

Press the candy eyeballs into the black icing.  Push him gently into the frosting of the cupcake.
