Maggie and I did several activities this week revolving around the book If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, so it was easy to decide on a theme for our muffin tin meal this week. The peanut butter mice were based on these peanut butter bees – except that I didn’t have any of the right ingredients (of course). I made the mice from peanut butter and graham cracker crumbs, with chocolate chips eyes and noses, almond ears, and apple slices for tails. They were a little crumbly, but when Maggie saw them she said, “wow!” I also made pretend cookies with graham crackers. I used a circle cutter, and stuck on some chocolate chips with peanut butter. If You Give a Mouse a Cookie Muffin Tin Meal
- water (Mouse drinks milk, but I know that would have gone to waste)
- “cookies”
- cheese cubes and a mouse pick
- peanut butter mice
- corn (a la Cinderella)
Maggie ate every single bite of this muffin tin meal, with only a little encouragement to eat the cheese. Interested in learning more about Muffin Tin Meals? Cute! Love your mice – hope they didn’t eat all the corn before Maggie could get it! :o)

Apparently greats minds think a like! We had the same theme this week. It’s so fun to see how different we do things given the same inspiration. Great Lunch!
