Repurposing and Recycling: Greeting Cards to Gift Tags

October 4, 2008 by Kimberly Danger Leave a Comment

Don’t throw away the old greeting cards you receive in the mail.  Instead, repurpose them to create attractive gift cards you can attach to any gift for a new recipient.  You’re not only recycling, you’re saving money too!

1.  Cut the front of the card off, preserving the design
2.  Using a scissors with a decorative edge, trim around the design
3.  Punch a hole in the corner, and string with curling ribbon
4.  Sign the back, and attach to the gift
