Rubbermaid Easy Find Lids: Saving my sanity for $25.00!

October 24, 2010 by Kimberly Danger 2 Comments

Just last week, team-edward found this great Walmart Value of the Day, Rubbermaid Easy Find Lids 52-piece set for only $25.  After years of fussing and fighting with odds and ends plastic containers, I knew I had to grab this offer.  I chose the $0.97 shipping, so it came right to my door.  I know it was just luck, and you can never depend on this, but I received them the NEXT day!

Before purchasing the entire set, I had been using the 0.5 cup containers for my daughter’s lunches at preschool.  It is so nice because, since the lids snap right to the bottom of the cup while she is eating, I actually a cup AND a lid sent home everyday.  (It’s the small things that make a momma’s heart happy, right?)

Because of my good experience with using them in Addie’s lunch, buying the complete set was a no-brainer.  After I received my shipment, cleaned out the incredibly unorganized drawer where I kept my old containers, and thoroughly washed all of the new pieces, I stacked all of my lids with their matching containers, and that was when I got the biggest (and possibly best) surprise at all.  Look at this drawer!

Before, it had been filled to the brim with lids and containers of all shapes and sizes.  Now, I have more containers AND more space.  (Again, it’s the small things.)

Granted, I have only had my set for about a week, but thus far, they are a “5 Star” purchase.
