For nights when you don’t feel like cooking, it’s great to have a few frozen dinners in your freezer that you can prepare in just minutes.  They’re almost always cheaper than eating out, and sometimes can be less than cooking from scratch – especially when you use coupons!    Your favorite restaurants are realizing this; and are creating frugal at-home DIY versions of your favorite restaurant meals, like the T.G.I.Friday’s meal pictured above.

Ways to save on frozen meals:

  • Purchase at Warehouse stores like Sam’s Club, Costco, or BJs
  • Combine in-store sales with coupons
  • Create your own freezer meals by cooking a double batch – one to eat, one to freeze
