Simple Healthy Holiday Snacks for Kids (5 Ingredients or Less)

Kids get crazy excited over the holidays.  They love everything from the lights, music, decorations, and food.  Here are some really simple holiday food ideas for kids.  Not only are they good for after-school and play-dates but they are also good for school holiday party snacks.

Babybel Cheese Santa Belts:  These would be such a fun surprise inside a child’s lunch box.

String Cheese Snowman:  Here is another simple way to dress up a lunch box staple.

Snow Man Milk Chugs:  This is just a simple way to dress up a kid sizes jug of milk. All you need is pie cleaner and multi-colored sharpies.

Grinch Fruit Kabobs:  This is so easy!  All you need is toothpicks, greek grapes, banana slices, strawberries, and mini marshmallows.

Snowman Popcorn Cups:  What a fun snack for a family holiday movie night.

Christmas Tree Apple Snack:  This is a great for play dates or just preschool lunch at home.

Rudolph Applesauce Cup:  Here is yet another fun way to present a healthy snack staple.

Tortilla Christmas Tree Snacks:  This is a lunch of a snack that kids can make themselves. Just draw a Christmas tree template and cut it out, trace and cut the tortilla.  Then the kids can decorate it with guacamole or cream cheese.  Then top it with tomatoes, cheese, etc.

Sliced Apple Candycane:  It really doesn’t take much, but kids love it when their ordinary food is shaped differently.  *photo source unknown

Celery Christmas Tree:  This is another fun way to present a healthy snack.  Put a dollop of cream cheese or peanut butter on a plate and top with 4 pieces of celery as you see in picture.  Then cut a piece of pineapple and yellow pepper into the shape of a star.  So fun!

    Oh man! These are all AWESOME!! I did Halloween themed snacks, but I will have to start doing Christmas themed ones too! Maybe for the week of Christmas! Thanks for sharing!!
