Snickers Salad

This is an incredibly easy to dessert to make, and pleases everyone in the family.  I’m not quite sure who first called it a “salad”, but with apples in it I suppose the name is somewhat valid.  Set aside some Snickers bars from the Halloween candy stash, if you can bear to avoid eating them (Put them in a brown paper sack in the freezer so you aren’t tempted).

Snickers Salad Ingredients:

• 1 1/2 C. milk
• 1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding
• 1 carton whipped topping
• 4 apples, peeled, cored and chopped
• 4 full-size Snickers candy bars, chopped, or about 1 cup

Mix everything together, reserving some of the chopped Snickers candy to sprinkle on the top of the salad.  Chill well before serving.  Enjoy!
