August 6, 2013 by Susie Chadwick Leave a Comment

lunch box recommendationsAre you looking for a new lunch box for back to school?   Many of us have bought cheap character lunch boxes only to have them fall apart halfway through the year.  We asked frugal moms on the Mommysavers forum what their favorite lunch boxes are and here are the top three, recommended for their sturdiness and holding up throughout the school year.

Top 3 Lunch Boxes Recommended by Frugal Moms

1. L.L. Bean.  The L.L. Bean lunch box was by far the most recommended lunch box. These insulated bags are currently priced at $17.95, come in 19 patterns and have a mesh pocket inside.

2. Lands’ End. Lands’ End soft sided lunch boxes were another popular recommendation from frugal moms.  These are $19.  Extra features include a side mesh pocket, a front zippered pocket, and a clip handle.

3. Justice.  Justice lunch bags were a surprisingly popular recommendation.  Regularly $19.50, you can currently get them for as little as $9.55 with a 40% off coupon code. There are several fun prints, including initial prints.
