Teriyaki Crock Pot Chicken
If you enjoy teriyaki chicken at restaurants, why not make the same dish at home? This Teriyaki Crock Pot Chicken recipe is easy, delicious and cheap.
Ingredients:
- 2-lbs. boneless chicken breasts
- 1/4 C. brown sugar
- ½ C. soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. honey
- 2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
- ½ tsp. ground ginger
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- ⅛ tsp. cayenne pepper
- 2 tsp. cornstarch
- 2 tsp. water
Instructions:
- Line crockpot with slow cooker liner for easy cleanup
- Lay chicken breasts in a single layer
- Mix all but cornstarch and water and pour over chicken
- Cook on low for 4-5 hours
- After cooking, take chicken out and cut into cubes
- Pour juice from crockpot into saucepan, bring to a boil
- Mix cornstarch and water in separate bowl then pour into juice to thicken
- Pour sauce over chicken and serve with rice or lo mein noodles
