Easy Glazed Salmon Recipe + Target Sale and Coupon

December 10, 2010 by Kimberly Danger 2 Comments

Right now, Wild-Caught Alaskan Salmon Fillets are on sale at Target for just $7 (reg. $10.49).  Pair that with the $1 off any Market Pantry seafood item printable coupon here and you’ll get them for just $6.

I buy these whenever they go on sale, because they’re a great value.  Market Pantry has thicker cuts of salmon than other value-packages I’ve bought in the past.  Plus, they taste great on the grill.

Here’s the recipe I used for an easy soy sauce glaze that tastes great on these salmon fillets.

You’ll Need:
4-6 salmon fillets
1/3 C. soy sauce
1/3 C. brown sugar
1/3 C. water
1/4 C. vegetable oil
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
cracked black pepper to taste

Combine ingredients above.   Marinate salmon fillets in soy sauce mixture in a shallow pan or zip-top bag in refrigerator 1 1/2 – 2 hours, occasionally turning to coat evenly.  Cook salmon approximately 15 minutes at 375 degrees or grill 6-8 minutes on each side, until salmon flakes with a fork.
