Chocolate Cookie Dough Truffles

December 23, 2011 by Kimberly Danger 4 Comments

cookie dough truffles

These chocolate cookie dough truffles are delicious and extremely easy to make.  If your kids like “snitching” cookie dough like mine do, they’ll love these!

Chocolate Cookie Dough Truffles

  • 1/2 C butter, softened
  • 3/4 C brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 C. flour
  • 1 (14-oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup semisweet mini chocolate morsels
  • 1 package chocolate candy coating, melted

Cream together the butter, brown sugar, and vanilla until well blended.  Gradually add flour, then sweetened condensed milk.  Fold in chocolate chips.  Roll the dough into 1 1/2″ balls and refrigerate two hours.  I had to re-roll my dough before dipping in chocolate because they had flattened slightly.

In a double boiler, melt chocolate candy coating.  Dip each dough ball in chocolate and remove with a slotted spoon to a piece of waxed paper.  Refrigerate until chocolate is set.
