Crock Pot Meals: Savory Pot Roast with Potatoes and Carrots

December 13, 2013 by Maggie Leung Leave a Comment

Nothing is better than after a busy day to come home to a fully-cooked meal ready to eat. This Savory Pot Roast will please everyone in your family – even the kids!

Pot Roast Meal in Crock Pot

  • McCormick Savory Pot Roast Seasoning
  • Beef pot roast
  • 1 lb. baby carrots
  • 1 sweet onion
  • Russet potatoes

Place pot roast in the bottom of the crock pot. Chop a small sweet onion in large chunks. Place on around the meat. Sprinkle whole packet of McCormick Savory Pot Roast Seasoning.

Place 1-lb. of baby carrots and cover meat and onions in an even layer.

Cut russet potatoes in thick slices and arrange in an even layer. Sprinkle with coarse kosher salt.

The season package calls for water, I suggest chicken or beef stock. Fill until carrots are mostly covered. Cover tightly and cook on low for 6-8 hours.

Serve and enjoy!  You’ll have a whole meal in one crock pot ready when you walk in the door.
