Frugal Fun: Driveway Bowling

September 11, 2010 by Kimberly Danger Leave a Comment

Driveway Bowling for Kids

If you’re looking for some free, frugal fun for the kids – try driveway bowling!  Here’s how:

Save your used 2-liter bottles until you have ten of them.   Then, depending on how difficult you want the bowling game to be, fill with water.   The more water your add, the more difficult it will be to knock the pins down.  Add food coloring to create colored pins (kids love this).   Then, set them up and use a basketball to try and knock ’em down.  It’s great family entertainment and is virtually free!  When you’re done, empty the 2-liter bottles and either recycle them or store them in a black trash bag in your garage for use again.
