My muffin cup and muffin tin options are so limited here that I buy just about any that I find. The other day my daughter found these mini paper polka dot muffin cups in the party section, so we grabbed them. They are teensy tiny – even smaller than “mini” muffin cups. I had a hard time filling them with enough food for a decent meal. Here’s what we had in our mini muffin tin meal.
- Bite-sized carrot pieces
- Ranch dip
- Mini crackers
- Peanut butter
- Yakult in a little bottle
- Mini gummy bears
- Mini M&Ms
Does anyone else drink Yakult? I don’t care for it, but my kids love it. Maggie protested against the crackers, but once she tried them with peanut butter, she happily ate them all, along with everything else in the little muffin cups.

I love all the mini foods! Placing the cups on a reflective tray is such a great idea.
Unfortunately, that’s the only not-ugly plate I have that was big enough, lol.
This looks so cheery and unexpected. I love it. So great to have you participate in muffin tin monday.
oooh, I like this! how cute!
These are so cute!! 🙂 And I like the plate, too! We did a “mini” tin a few weeks ago using a ice cube tray that had star shapes…you’re right, it’s hard to find mini foods! 🙂
I like all the teeny mini liners on the tray – looks like food for a party!
My husband likes Yakult, but I think it’s awful. The Muffin has never tried it, but I think she’d like the little bottles it comes in. 🙂
so fun and sweet! my children would love this kind of treat!
