Muffin Tin Monday: Orange & Black Halloween Muffin Tin Meal

October 10, 2011 by Susie Chadwick 4 Comments

This week’s muffin tin meal has an orange and black theme.  Maggie had fun helping me come up with a list of orange and black foods – many more than we could fit in our muffin tin meal.

Our Black & Orange Muffin Tin Meal included:

  • mango juice
  • black beans
  • Cheetos
  • chocolate cake (leftover from Little Boy’s birthday yesterday!)
  • orange slices
  • black plum half
  • macaroni and cheese
  • black licorice

Halloween Muffin Tin Meal: Orange and Black

Dalton ate the beans, chips, and half the macaroni and cheese.  Maggie ate everything but the oranges.

Here are the other black and orange foods we thought of, in case you wanted to use this muffin tin meal theme.

  • carrots
  • mango
  • orange juice
  • cheese
  • mango yogurt
  • black grapes
  • blackberries
  • chocolates
  • Skittles (my kids are convinced that grape Skittles are black)
  • Oreos
  • soy sauce

Great orange and black tin. You had some great ideas for each color. My children, unfortunately don’t like black beans.
