Muffin Tin Monday: Red White & Blue

July 4, 2011 by Susie Chadwick 4 Comments

I’m sure I won’t be the only one with a Red, White & Blue themed Muffin Tin Meal this 4th of July! Ours is pretty special to us, though, because this is the first time I’ve even seen blueberries in India.  Strawberries are out of season, too!  I had great luck at the produce store this week.  So for our 4th of July Red White & Blue muffin tin meal, I served:

  • mini marshmallows
  • red and purple Skittles
  • mozzarella cheese
  • blueberries
  • cream
  • strawberries

4th of July muffin tin mealWe also used star muffin cups and a little blue umbrella pick.  Maggie ate the entire thing and loved it – how could she not??

I love your tin and am so happy you could find blueberries. We love them and really enjoy all the summer fruits. Seeing your post makes me appreciate what we have. Have a blessed 4th of July!

It looks very patriotic, especially with the blue star liners!

Great muffin tin. Glad you found the blueberries. My little store didn’t have blueberries so I had to use frozen.
