What's Old is New: Garlic Bread Shapes

September 11, 2010 by Kimberly Danger Leave a Comment

If you’ve got a half-eaten loaf of bread in your home that’s getting stale, here’s a way to turn it into something new and tasty while giving your kids something to do.  Soften a stick of butter and stir in about 1/2 tsp. of garlic powder to taste.  Brush the butter on the bread and use large cookie cutters to create fun shapes with each slice.  Bake in a 375 degree oven until lightly browned.  Kids love making them AND eating them!
