Just curious. Around here in MN (it's a fairly liberal state) Obama is all the rage - but I heard something about a poll where he and McCain are in a dead heat right now. Our governor, Tim Pawlenty has been mentioned as a contender for McCain's VP which may have something to do with it, but that remains to be seen. I wonder if it will be a closer race than expected.

I'm just wondering how Mommysavers members would vote.

I think it's going to be a race till the end. Both would be capable leaders and seem like good men. I support Obama, but am not put off by McCain. He's not my politics, but he's a man with a commendable past and I highly respect him.

John Edwards! Wait ... that wasn't the question. Idaho will go to McCain and though I probably will vote for Obama, I will not be unhappy with McCain. I guess I'm going with the Anyone but Bush at this point!

But I still need to see VP's before I completely decide.

Yes, this makes a difference to me, too.

If I HAD to vote I would vote for Hilary, I would write her name in. I don't NOT like McCain but I think he is pandering to the farther right which he really isn't. I like the way Obama talks but I personally don't think I see any substance coming out of his mouth. Hope is all I know he is for. McCain still has a chance for my vote. I will probably make my mind up the moment I walk in the booth.

It's nice to see I'm not the only one I'm pretty upset that there are rumors running rampant that they aren't even going to allow her name on the first ballot(despite the fact that they have allowed people with WAY less to have their name presented and have the pledged delegates EARNED.). If that happens I'm through with the DNC. Democracy first, party second.

Personally I am disappointed with how the primary was run (where else in history was a candidate GIVEN the vote of his opponent when he wasn't even on the ballot)and in the end it may cost Obama my vote. I take the concept of participating in a banana republic pretty seriously.
