disney's frozen Inspired Candy Crunch Bark
This Candy Crunch Bark will become a favorite treat for fans of the Disney movie Frozen. The blue candy that is used represents the ice along with Anna and Elsa's dresses while the white bark resembles the snow and Olaf. This is a fun recipe that only takes two ingredients and can store nicely up to two weeks in a covered container.
Β Candy Crunch Bark Ingredients:
- 1 lb. Almond Bark Vanilla baking Bar, chopped up
- 3/4 cup, Blue Hard Candy, crushed up (* I used 6 full-sized blueberry candy canes)
- Optional: Blue sprinkles (* I used Winter Pearls Mix)
Line a baking sheet with foil and set aside.
Put chopped up almond bark in a medium saucepan and over low heat, melt the almond bark, stirring constantly until it's all melted and smooth. Remove the pan from the heat.
Stir in 1/2 cup of the crushed candy. Reserve the rest for the topping.
Pour the mixture onto the baking sheet with the foil and spread to 3/8-inch thickness. Sprinkle with the remaining crushed candy. This is when you can also add additional sprinkles.
Put the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes or until firm. You can also let it harden-up at room temperature.
Once chilled, remove the pan from the fridge, use the foil and lift the candy off of the pan and break into pieces. This will keep nicely for up to 2 weeks in a tightly covered container.
