These Christmas S’mores Bars are sooo…… ooey, gooey, delicious and only require a few pantry staple ingredients.
Christmas S’mores Bars Recipe
- 12 graham crackers
- 3/4 cup butter (1 1/2 sticks)
- 3/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
- 3 c. miniature marshmallows
- 1 c. M&M’s (red and green ones)
Step 1 – Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 15x10x1 inch jelly-roll pan with aluminum foil leaving a 1 inch overhang on the ends. Spray the aluminum foil with non-stick cooking spray.
Step 2 – Take the 12 graham crackers and lay them side-by-side on the foil.
Step 3 – In a 2-quart saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and brown sugar, stirring constantly until smooth and mixture comes to just a boil. This takes about 4-6 minutes.
Step 4 – Pour the brown sugar, butter mixture over the graham crackers.
Step 5 – Bake for 5-6 minutes or until bubbly.
Step 6 – Remove pan from oven and sprinkle with the miniature marshmallows.
Step 7 – Put the pan back into the oven and bake until the marshmallows begin to soften and puff up. This takes about 2-3 minutes.
Step 8 – Take the pan out of the oven and immediately sprinkle with the M&M’s. Let cool completely, lift the bars out of the pan with the foil and cut into bars.
*Note: You can also make this recipe on Valentine’ Day, Easter, and Halloween using seasonal M&Ms.
