Whenever I make my famous Spinach and Artichoke Dip I get compliments – Guaranteed! I've been making it for years and years and my friends even request it for the parties they host. It's that good.
This time around, I made it with Kraft Fresh Take Cheese and Breadcrumb Mix to make it even easier. I spotted Kraft Fresh Take in the cheese section of the grocery store. It comes with a breading/cheese mixture that's ready-to-go. Use it on meats, dips, and whatever else sounds good.
spinach and artichoke Dip
2 14-oz. can artichokes, drained and chopped
1/2 of a 6 oz. bag fresh spinach, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 Tbsp. butter
1 C. sour cream
1/2 C. mayonnaise
1/2 C. cream cheese, softened
1 package Kraft Fresh Take, Italian Cheese and Breadcrumb Mix (found in the cheese section)
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a saucepan, melt the butter. Throw in the chopped spinach and garlic until greens have wilted. Turn off the heat and add the chopped artichokes, sour cream, mayo, cream cheese, the cheese from the Kraft Fresh Take package, and HALF of the breadcrumb packet. Spread the dip in a baking dish and top the other half of the Fresh Take breadcrumbs. Bake until completely heated through and the cheese begins to bubble and brown, about 25-30 minutes.
Serve with crackers, chips, or even veggies. It also looks great in a homemade bread bowl. For more pictures of how I made this dip, check out my album on Google+.
