I’m finished with my second 21 Day Fix Challenge. It was actually a 30 Day Challenge called, 30 Days to a Happier You. It includes a group Facebook meet-up and a week prep. Then you do the 21 Day Fix as a group with daily check-ins. Then you have 2 days of follow-up with end results pictures. Here is more about that HERE.
My first 30 Day Challenge was a Back to Basics group. You can read about my first experience HERE.
I honestly felt like this Challenge was harder, not because of the challenge itself, just because of me and stuff I struggle with. You can see in this round of before and after photos, the difference is not huge.
My legs are a lot stronger and my endurance when I work out is getting better. I’m still doing really well on working out and daily hydration. I easily burn 1800+ calories every week between the treadmill and Zumba. I have to work on my abs a bit more.
I also am still battling anxiety and depression. It’s not an excuse so much as it’s an additional challenge when it comes to motivation. It just means I have to work harder. It’s kind of like going for a hike with a backpack full of rocks. You still need to do it, it just takes more time and energy. You can read more about my struggle with depression HERE.
There are a few things that get me through:
- Remembering why I signed up for Beachboy in the first place.
- Revisiting and reading about my Motivations and Goals that I had when I first started.
- Focusing on getting out of my own head and just doing it!
- Looking at my before pictures from the beginning of September until now. There is a difference in just 2 months! I can see and feel it! (and yes…I do know that I’m not photogenic!)
So where to next? Well next week these is a 5 Day Sugar Purge that is perfect for after Halloween. I’ll post more on that tomorrow.
My next 30 Day Challenge starts the week after that. I will post more about that as well in case anyone wants to join me.

You’re doing a great job! Remember, what you feel (stronger, happier, more energetic) is always more important than what you see physically. Of course, weight loss and smaller clothes sizes will eventually follow, but being happy about how you feel is much much awesome! Cheers!
