Pulled pork is a classic dish that is perfect for any occasion. Whether you’re hosting a backyard barbecue or just looking for a delicious meal to enjoy with your family, this easy two-ingredient pulled pork recipe is sure to be a hit. The best part? You only need two ingredients to make it!

Ingredients:

  • 1 (3-4 pound) pork shoulder
  • 1 bottle of your favorite sauce (can be barbeque sauce or another sauce that pairs well with pork)

Directions:

  1. Place the pork shoulder in a slow cooker and add enough water to cover the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Cook on low for 7 hours.
  3. Transfer the pork to a bowl and shred it with two forks.
  4. Return the pork to the slow cooker and stir in the barbecue sauce.
  5. Spoon a generous amount of pork into each roll to serve.

Easy Pulled Pork Recipe

If you’re looking for a more flavorful pulled pork recipe, this one is for you. Made with pantry spices and coke to tenderize the meat and add sweetness to the seasonings, this recipe is perfect for those who want to add a little extra flavor to their pulled pork.

Ingredients:

  • 4 lb pork shoulder or butt
  • 1 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp paprika
  • 1 Tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp cumin
  • 1 can of coke

Directions:

  1. Trim the pork of excess fat and cut it into 4 pieces. Combine spices in a small bowl and rub all over the pork. (This can be done the night before).
  2. Heat a few tablespoons of oil in a Dutch oven pot over medium-high heat. Add the meat and sear for a few seconds on all sides.
  3. Add the coke to the pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 2-3 hours or until the pork is tender and falls apart easily.
  4. Remove the pork from the pot and shred it with two forks.
  5. Serve the pulled pork with your favorite barbecue sauce.
