During the holiday season, I like to give gifts to everyone around me on a regular basis. That can add up and get pretty pricey. Here are some nice and frugal DIY gift ideas for friends, neighbors, and co-workers.
Santa Mason Jar: This is so cute and so easy to do! If you are going to give out a treat, might as well dress it up a bit.
Hot Chocolate Kit: This is such a fun idea. You can buy these tubes on Amazon or at a craft store. You fill one with hot chocolate mix and the others with mix-ins. Then you add a ribbon, some greenery, and even and ornament.
Homemade Bailey's Irish Cream: This is so simple and can be made in large batches for all of your loved ones. It tastes awesome in coffee and hot chocolate (ADULTS ONLY).
Christmas Potpourri Mason Jar: This is nor your grandmother's dehydrated potpourri. This involves orange slices, cranberries, cinnamon sticks, and spices. Your friends and neighbors actually pour everything into a pot of water on the stove and heat it. Their home will smell heavenly!
Homemade Vanilla Extract: Real vanilla extract is what makes home baked goods taste fantastic. This is definitely a gift that anyone would appreciate.
DIY Homemade Foaming Hand Soap: This is one of those ideas you will want to make for others and keep a couple for yourself.
DIY Cork Coasters: These are fun and can be customized to the interest of the gift receiver. Examples: comic books, favorite tv show, music album covers, photos, etc.
